Aileen has worked for the New York City Department of Education, Los Angeles Unified School District, private preschools and private sensory clinics in both New York City and Los Angeles, as well as American expat families while residing abroad in Berlin, Germany.
Additionally, Aileen has experience in providing aquatic based occupational therapy treatment and virtual occupational therapy for homeschooled students in California.
Aileen has over a decade of extensive experience working with preschool and school aged children on the Autism spectrum, children with sensory processing challenges, and children with varying degrees of differences in their development. She received formal training in Handwriting Without Tears, Retained Reflex Testing/Integration exercises, Social Thinking, Ready Body Learning Minds, Vision Disorders and Interactive Metronome.
